On Monday morning (4 August), a group of suspects robbed Jet Elukwatini of 218 cellphones and R7,700 in cash. But their getaway didnโ€™t go as planned.

Thanks to intel from BACSA E2 and a BOLO alert, Divergent Ops deployed a specialised vehicle along the N4. One of our Operatives spotted a speeding car matching the suspect profile โ€” now sporting GP plates instead of MP.

ย The vehicleโ€™s plate was captured via onboard camera and cross-referenced with SAPS. Within minutes, data analysis confirmed: this was the robbery vehicle.

A coordinated response between Divergent Ops, BACSA E2, and SAPS kicked into gear. Multiple units were deployed, and after a tense hour of surveillance, the suspects made a move near SARS in Nelspruit.

They didnโ€™t get far.

ย Teams swooped in. The vehicle was blocked. Suspects were pinned. MP plates used in the robbery were recovered, along with other key evidence.

SAPS LCRC attended the scene. The suspects, vehicle, and evidence were handed over for further investigation. Efforts continue to track down remaining suspects and recover stolen items.
